The University of West Florida has partnered the services of Parchment in order to provide a web-based transcript service. Parchment utilizes Blue Ribbon Certification as an additional security feature applied to PDF orders. In order to provide the highest level of security, recipients of PDF mailed transcripts have a limited time frame of 14 days to download the transcript once it has been electronically delivered. Once this time frame has expired, the transcript will no longer be available and a new order will need to be placed.

Keep in mind that when ordering an official transcript the following deadlines exist.  Once a time frame has expired, the transcript is no longer available and a new order and payment will need to be placed.

  • e-Transcript to any FL State College or Community College or Public University:  Transcripts release overnight into the FASTER system for delivery to the state institution designated.  There is a 14-day window to troubleshoot issues should they arise.
  • e-Transcript to anywhere else (yourself, a company or another institution):  transcripts release from the system approximately 25 minutes from order completion and have a limited time frame of 14 days to download the transcript once it has been electronically delivered.
  • Mail or Pick-up orders:  transcript requests are processed typically on the next available business day and can take a minimum of 7-14 business days for delivery.  Please note, pick-up orders are not available at this time.
  • Pick-up orders will receive a notification when the transcript is available.  There is a 30-day window to troubleshoot issues should they arise.  Pick-up transcripts are destroyed after 30 days.

Payment by credit card is required. In addition to standard delivery, Parchment offers Fed Ex for expedited delivery (for an additional charge). Students must log into the MyUWF online portal to place their order.

  • Attachments must be uploaded when you place your transcript order through Parchment. If the Office of the Registrar needs to complete information requested on the attachment, please forward the attachment to from your UWF email account and include the recipient's address. In order for the Office of the Registrar to send your attachment along with your transcript, please select the Pick-up option when placing your order. If you have any questions, please email

  • LSAC (Law School Admissions Council) now has an electronic transmission agreement with Parchment. Students may now either request an electronic or hard copy to be sent. If requesting a hard copy, please allow 7 to 14 business days for delivery (as usual). You may upload the attachment during the ordering process which will be mailed along with your transcript or it will be attached to the electronic transcript.

  • Pick-Up orders must have your name as the recipient. Do not list the University of West Florida as the recipient. If you would like for someone else to pick-up your transcript for you, please email the Office of the Registrar at to request this and indicate the person's name. Identification must be provided at the time of pick-up.
    • NOTE:  You have 4 weeks - 20 business days from the date of order to pick up your transcript.  Any transcript not ordered for pick-up and not picked up at Argo Central within the 4 weeks of the ordering date will be shredded and a new order and payment will be required.  The pick-up transcript will NOT be reissued at no charge.

  • Do you need your transcript notarized? Please contact our office at for further assistance. Please note, there is a $1.00 charge for each notarization.

  • Are you sending your transcript as an emailed pdf to the recipient or a military installation? Please verify they are able to receive it from before placing your order. Some addresses, such as .mil, will not accept emails from this address due to security protocols.

For specific information related to what appears on an official transcript as well as further detailed information related to UWF academic transcripts, please refer to the Office of the Registrar Transcripts site. Official transcripts may only be ordered online.
