AbstractThis policy supplements the Florida Board of Governor's regulations providing an annual assessment of the president's performance and goals by the UWF Board of Trustee's. The policy details the purposes and process by which the president's performance shall be reviewed on an annual basis.

All of the human resource workshops, Studer Institute training, and other sources say that evaluation of bosses should come strongly from those administered by the bosses.   This policy does not do that.  It says 'periodically the review MAY seek input from faculty, staff, students, etc.'   The Board appears to be only evaluating the President on the basis of what the President tells them, and measuring goals based on the goals given to them by the President and how they have been achieved only as stated by the President.   By all professional human resources and personnel management norms, this is a flawed process.
